This switch is for showing free gear between first and second gear and it's in gearbox (For sign is little green light in headlamp). And it's just above the gearbox and under the air filter. U'll find it easyly.

"brown wire" is inside ignition lock with the neutral gear lamp. Lamp gets positive voltage directly from ignition lock (from the same circuit as ignition coils etc.), ground comes from gearbox. "Switch" is inside, outlet is usually located under carburettor.
