Me again. Another subject that I find interesting to know about is this
question about old Tampere Buses in Tartu. In the early nineties the city of Tampere gave many old local buses as a present to its sister-city of Tartu ( or Tartto as it is written in Finnish). Because I live in Tampere
it would be nice to know something about these buses- and even more
fun to see some pictures of these in service in Tartu, if someone has any
pictures , please show me!

These first scanned thumbnail-pages are from a book which deals Tampere buses and if it says in the list " Tarttoon" it means that the bus
in question was sent there. These information pages are in Finnish but perhaps you can understand something about the buses- I can translate
into English some parts if you have any questions:

A Finnish guy by the Nickname of TEP70 has photographed two of them in Tartu and if someone could identify these with the old Tampere fleetnumbers I would very much appreciate it.

The first one, Liikor fleet no 94, reg 381TBJ has Volvo chassis 13785
The Latter, assuming it's fleet no 89, reg 406TAN has Scania chassis 544472.

the second is then ex-Tampere #535 Smile

#341 is not TAK. TAK's 4th Ajokki is Tampere 321 and it's fleet number is 3579

Perhaps the bus on last photo is 341. At the moment the bus on the photo (069ASG in Estonia) is owned by GoBus. Tartu or Pärnu or...?

Thanks again for correcting, then Kari-Pekka Paavola (Killerpop) has wrong information as well in his Fleet Cards- I will contact him A.S.A.P
so that he can correct his pages as well- I think that he is on holiday at the moment so it may take a while.

So no one knows anything about this Tampere #611- I have seen a picture of it at some bus depot in Estonia without any company marks and without registration plates- perhaps it has been torn into spare parts...?

EDIT: And thanks to mr.Regardman for giving the link to these wonderful
pages of Tallinn Buses. Whoever has worked on this matter (you or anyone else) seems to have done a marvellous job- that is something that
I've always wanted to read through- next time when I come to Tallinn to photograph I will not have think ( back at home when I empty my camera's memory cards) about the history of those buses, I can check it from this page.
