Kui aus olla, siis on see pildimängust alguse saanud teema. Sealsest 60ndate alguse Datsunist, mis üsna inglaslik välja nägi.
Siis komistasin ma selle lehe peale ,kus 1952. aasta juures kirjutatakse, et Austin müüs Nissanile 7-aastase litsentsi A40-te ehitamiseks.

Noh, põhimõtteliselt on kõik autod muidugi omavahel sugulased, nagu meie Aadama ja Eeva kaudu, aga teinekord on siiski tore vaadata, kuidas sugupuud jooksevad ja mis imeloomasid eri harude otsas leiab.

neil on kõva side jah. ma pole veel selgitanud, mil määral, aga kindlasti on Austinitega seotud ka Datsun Cherry Smile vähemalt kui ma allegrole juppe otsisin, siis juhatati mind paar korda ka Datsun Cherri juurde. ja ka hilisematel aegadel on Austin teinud koostööd idamaadega - näiteks tegid hiinlased oma versiooni Austin Maestrost ja Montegost. itaallasedki kasutasid \"doonorina\" Austini toodangut - itaalias veereb see nime all Innocenti. vorm võib olla natuke erinev (minil isegi sama) aga tehnika on Austin.

2) I believe that Nissan produced Oriental variations not only on the A
series but also the B series too. Until the \'70s that is, after which
Nissan started to impose its creative independence.

In the 50s Austin and Nissan had some kind of tie-up which resulted
in the A50 being built under licence way out East (ironic when you
consider the Rover/Honda link up of later years.)

Indeed it\'s rumoured that the oddly named Nissan Cedric was named in
honour of an Austin engineer.

It does beg the question: who the hell was Gloria?

As for Nissan producing engines of 998cc and 1275cc for the previous
generation of Micra it\'s surely just Nissan paying homage to the Mini.

I mean just look at the styling of the thing. From the overall
styling to details like the shape of the rear lights, and even
through to marketing - Micra Super S - it\'s just one big Mini love-
in. And this was years before BMW thought of doing the same thing.


neid päris vanu kirju ma veel ei leidnud. tegelt ei viizi ozida ka ja pole enam alles niikuinii, aga SEE TÕESTAB, et connection on olemas. need sellid, kes siin vastavad (dVb) on kõik kudagi BMC\'ga seotud.
