Questions about Eurika (Эврика)
#1

Hi fellow cyclists/collectors

Earlier I got wise tips from you guys and I eventually gave up on searching for Soviet road bikes due to the frame size issues that they aren't meant for a short rider like myself Sad

Now I am looking for some info and possibly an actual bike Eurika (Eureka, Эврика). After a quick search I got some info on the basic specs in Russian:

Техническая характеристика
База, мм
Высота рамы, мм 459
Обозначение шин 49_406
Число зубьев звездочек:
ведущей 44
ведомой 19
Масса (без принадлежностей и дополнительного оборудования), кг 13

I still would like to know if Eurika and Eurika 2 (one with the suspension fork I think) were meant to be junior bikes since the wheelbase (distance between front and rear wheel shafts) seems shorter than more ubiquitous adult bike Desna/Aist or Kama. Any info on the dimension?

Also I would like to know about Tisa (Тиса) too but I don't seem to be looking at the right place that I find no info on specs and whether or not it folds... Please help!!

Lastly I would be very keen to get complete Eurika or even wheels or a few bits missing. Any offers? Perhaps they did not come to the Baltic states??

Thanks in advance

Sacci
